Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your personal data when you use gosiasobczyk.com. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

Gosia Sobczyk, breathwork instructor, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller of any personal data collected through this website. You can reach me at gosia@gosiasobczyk.com.

What I collect, and why

  • Contact and booking forms. When you write to me through a form on this site, I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to put in the message. I use it only to answer you and to arrange a session.
  • Health information you choose to share. If you tell me about a health condition so that we can decide whether breathwork is safe for you, I treat that as confidential. I do not share it with anyone, and I keep it only as long as we are working together.
  • Newsletter. The Brave Soul Thrive letter is run on a separate platform (Beehiiv). If you subscribe, your email address is held there under their privacy policy, and every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Server and security logs. The hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP addresses for security and troubleshooting.

Legal basis

I process your data on the basis of your consent (when you write to me or subscribe), and to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (when you book a session).

How long it is kept

Form submissions are kept for as long as they are useful for our correspondence, and deleted when they are not. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Who else sees it

I do not sell or trade personal data. It is shared only with the services needed to run the site and my work: the web host, the email service that delivers messages, the newsletter platform, and, for online sessions, the video-call provider. Each processes data under its own agreement.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work and keep it secure, plus any set by the caching layer for performance. There is no advertising tracking.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask to see the data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Write to gosia@gosiasobczyk.com and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
